ED BERRIOS

CHRONICLE .001

On Design and the Desire to Feel

Let’s open this dialogue on design  and on everything that composes, surrounds, and quietly revolves around it. This space is for those who seek inspiration, for those who crave innovation, and for those who, like myself, have grown weary of the endless scrolling the flatness, the impersonality, the constant stream of content that seems to ask nothing of us.

I want more. And I know you do too.

Main Reflection

I want to connect on a deeper level. To challenge myself and, hopefully, challenge you as well. To share things that confront, that inspire, or that simply make us feel something.

I won’t pretend to be a Pulitzer writer, nor will I try to become something I’m not. I’m simply someone who eats, breathes, and lives beauty in all its forms a design lover and an architecture junkie. Someone endlessly fascinated by the way ideas become space, and space becomes emotion.

This Chronicle is an attempt to capture that fascination. To offer a fresh lens on what draws my eyes, what fuels my imagination, and what moves me enough to share it with you.

Why It Matters

Because design, at its best, is not about trends or aesthetics  it’s about connection. The connection between maker and material, between thought and form, between people and the worlds they create for themselves.

If we allow ourselves to look closer, to slow down, we might begin to feel again  and that, to me, is what design is truly about.

So here it begins  The Chronicles. A space for discovery, curiosity, and conversation. A place for those of us who still believe that beauty is not something to scroll past, but something to be experienced, questioned, and felt.

Until the next Chronicle, keep seeking beauty in the details.
