MOUVEMENT — Fluid Forms
0010 B reduces the language of the lounge chair to its simplest gesture — a single rounded volume resting directly on the floor. Conceived as a companion piece, it reads less as furniture than as a soft object, defined entirely by mass, texture, and proportion. The form is circular and uninterrupted. No edge asserts itself; the volume rises gently from the floor and returns to it without transition. Its silhouette is that of a softened stone, shaped by use rather than construction. Long-pile cream mohair transforms the geometry into atmosphere. The dense fibres catch light unevenly, creating movement across the surface as the pile shifts with touch. Highlights gather along the crown while deeper shadows settle into the perimeter, emphasizing the object’s quiet presence. There are no seams intended to be seen, no decorative details, and no visible structure. The piece relies entirely on its proportion, material, and the tactile richness of the mohair to define its character. Suited to private residences, collectors’ interiors, and reading rooms where an additional seat, footrest, or sculptural accent is required — a soft monolith placed low to the floor, inviting use through comfort and form alone
