Reduced to an essential gesture, the object recalls a river-worn pebble, its rounded mass gathered tightly around itself and held close to the floor. The form is generated from a softly rounded footprint measuring 115 centimetres in width and 100 centimetres in depth. The body swells outward through its centre before tapering gently toward the upper plane and recessed base, creating a silhouette that feels simultaneously substantial and weightless. The concealed plinth withdraws from view, allowing the volume to hover lightly above the floor. Executed entirely in mirror-polished stainless steel, the surface behaves as a continuous field of reflection. Light, architecture, and movement are absorbed into the body and returned as softened distortions across the curved planes. The mirrored finish transforms the object into an active participant within its environment, changing character throughout the day. The defining gesture is the relationship between the rounded belly and the calm, circular upper plane.
