The seat plane runs between the sides on a quiet downward angle, sloping from the back toward the floor; the front platform stands square and full-width, anchoring the piece to the ground. The material is brushed champagne stainless steel — hand-worked in long parallel passes that catch the light without reflecting it, leaving a satin field across the whole plane and front face. A single tan leather cushion and a matching back bolster sit inside the cradle, both upholstered in vegetable-tanned saddle leather hand-rubbed to a soft lived-in patina. The defining gesture is the way the leather pools into the steel. The base cushion sags gently along the front edge of the seat plane and presses against the brushed lip; the bolster carries a single horizontal seam down its midline, and falls open against the angled back without strap or anchor.
