The piece begins as a study in softness held against a horizontal line — three rounded cushioned volumes set side by side in tobacco nubuck, each carrying its own body-language, the whole held together directly on the floor without a frame to lift it. A long body measures 213.4 centimetres in length and 58.4 centimetres in depth, rising to 55.9 centimetres at the highest point of the central module. The composition is read as three soft modules: a large left cushion that drops to a low waist at its inner edge, a longer central cushion that mirrors the same gesture in reverse, and a smaller right cushion that closes the line as a quiet ottoman. The material is full-grain tobacco nubuck — hand-upholstered onto a dense moulded inner core, brushed across the surface to a matte velvety nap and joined with continuous saddle-stitched seams that follow the curve rather than control it. The colour holds a warm caramel under daylight and deepens to a tobacco brown under low light. The defining gesture is the way the modules meet — each cushion is carved at its inner end so the seat can meet against it, the two volumes touching at the top and parting beneath, leaving a soft underbody arch between them. The body reads as a single boulder drawn long and broken twice, never as separate seats. Suited to private residences, gallery interiors, and lounge settings where a single horizontal mass is asked to anchor the room — a long upholstered body drawn across the floor at daybed height, available as a continuous group or as separable modules.
