A cubic volume of light. The .0032a side table is conceived as a single 50-centimetre cube of cast translucent resin, broken into two registers — a thick upper slab and a recessed pedestal — so that the form reads as a column of frozen blush. The composition is austere. A square top of 50 × 50 × 12 cm floats above a slimmer rectangular base inset on all sides, the proportions tuned to give the slab a faint cantilever and a clear shadow line at the join. The material is the work. Pigmented resin cast in a single pour, then hand-polished, holds light the way alabaster does — opaque at the edges, glowing softly through the body. Paired with its amber counterpart .0032b, the two read as a chromatic study — one block of light in two temperatures.
