Conceived as a piece of architecture before it is a piece of furniture, Linea Prima .0040 reads as a freestanding wall — a brutalist structure of horizontal slabs suspended at offset heights, articulated by vertical supports in a considered rhythm. The composition refuses symmetry without surrendering balance; levels shift and step, divisions advance and recede, generating a syncopated field of solids and voids. Executed entirely in burnished steel, hand-patinated to a dark surface that holds light without releasing it, the piece carries the trace of process. A single curved base lifts the entire mass — rigour above, movement below
